October 12, 2010

Letter to customers:

Corey Chambers on eBay is no longer able to offer consignment services to the general public.  Due to a court judgment against Corey Chambers and levy on the funds of our customers, there may be a delay of more than 90 days on outstanding payments to our cherished clients.

For service to your outstanding customer account, please email us at service@coreychambers.com and we will keep you informed of upcoming payments.  Please notify us of any change of address so that we can settle your account as quickly as possible.

I am very thankful for the opportunity over the years to write checks of hundreds of thousands of dollars to my patrons.  Nothing pleases me more than sending checks to my wonderful customers.  My customers have been there for me, and, in return, they have always been able to count on me to overcome all obstacles, turn lemons into lemonade and find sterling silver hidden in every cloud.  I know that the future for me and my clients will be much brighter than we might now imagine.  I look forward to including a special bonus payment with any checks that take more than 90 days to disburse.

Cats Purr to Heal

Hillsborough. NC — Recent studies are revealing how purring may be the secret to cats’ nine lives. CHI Institute is the first m the U.S. to release studies that conclusively corroborate the healing results from infrasonic sound waves.  Scientists at the Fauna Communications Research Institute in North Carolina have determined that the frequency at which many cats purr, between 27 and 44 hertz for house cats, matches the frequency that seems to help human bones strengthen and grow.  Cats purr, not only when they are happy, but also when injured.  They heal quickly from bone and tissue injuries caused by the impact of falling great distances.

In addition to the scientific studies CHI has published, thousands of medical doctors have already observed first-hand the results of therapeutic infrasound. Merle Janet M.D. states, “I am using the machine in daily practice. I tried it on my can and she immediately flopped down, curled up and half-closed her eyes and purred away. Must’ve seemed to her like her momma cat had come back.”

96% of Infratonic users report satisfactory to excellent benefits from infrasound therapy for pain, inflammation, improving circulation and accelerating the healing process. 35% of CHI Institute’s customers report near-miraculous results in improving their acute and chronic ailments.

eBay Motors vehicle listing:

Get the unique feeling of this extraordinary Italian made touring motorcycle.  Fuel injected with 74 horse power, this Moto Guzzi has a manual transmission with 5 speeds.  This bike is in excellent condition with little or no wear and tear or damage.  Original owner, has kept this motorcycle garaged, and has not been riding it in the past few years.  The fuel injection was recently revamped, and the bike is ready to roll!  Expertly maintained, quick starting, smooth running and extremely reliable, every component works as great as it looks.

With lots of chrome and a beautiful classic design, this bike has a dazzling appearance.  With some special features such as linked integrated braking, steering damper and Weber fuel injection, this Guzzi is easy to get attached to.  Big, comfortable single seat, modified sacrificing passenger seat to better fit a single tall rider.  It features Bitubo forks, Brembo calipers, dual 300mm front brake rotors, and spoked wheels.  A classic instrument cluster housing only a speedometer and tachometer greets you, along with the standard assortment of status lights.

A linked braking system operates the left front caliper and rear brake when the lever is pulled, while the brake pedal operates the rear caliper and right front brake.  Weber fuel injection and an adjustable steering damper for cornering stability and just the right amount of tightness in the steering.

The engine starts easily and is easy to ride with the easy pull of the accelerator twist grip. The Weber fuel injection system helps Guzzi’s 2-valve 1064cc V-twin engine pull cleanly from as low as 1500 rpm all the way to the 8000 rpm redline with no rough spots. Peak power can be found at a lazy 6400 rpm where the Guzzi puts out a respectable 75 hp.

Requires less frequent shifting because the legendary mile-wide power spread allows you forget about shifting in city traffic as you sit back and let the torque pull you along. Once you get out of the city and find the tranquility of the open road you’ll discover that the California is in its element. Vibration from the engine is ever-present although more subtle than a Harley – it isn’t enough to be annoying, but you won’t ever forget that you’re riding a V-twin.

Handling manners are respectable considering the bike’s intended purpose and the suspension soaks up bumps quite well. Very comfortable cruising at medium high speeds. Guzzi’s integrated braking system works quite well, and is helpful to novice riders in everyday and emergency stopping situations.

Spend some time with this motorcycle, and the satisfying torque, easy maintenance and undeniable personality will win you over.  If you want something a little different, ride a Moto Guzzi California; you will never forget it.

City Hall connects to Police Department with Maxtech Wireless LAN

Anderson, CA (January 29, 1999) — Serving a small town of 9,000 residents, the
Anderson Police Department works closely with the administrators in the city hall building. With limited funds, the two buildings needed to share resources in order to maximize productivity and efficiency. The two buildings stand nearly a half-mile apart.  With increased need for city workers to share files between buildings, they found that they were spending too much time waiting for dial-up modems to send data over old-fashioned phone lines.

City Finance Director Dana Shigley concluded that this expensive use of resources could be remedied by tying the two NT servers into one network. The only question was how to connect the two distant buildings in a way that the small city could afford. Guy Lemke of the local Com-pair Corporation was called in to shed light on the new technology of wireless LAN. Lemke explained how a Maxtech wireless LAN system could transmit data rapidly, easily and inexpensively between the two distant buildings.

It took less than one day for Com-Pair to install the Maxtech LANescape system between city hall and the police department. The entire wireless LAN system cost the city less than $3,000. The workers in the two buildings can now transfer files, send email, share the Internet and output big print jobs with the speed and efficiency of a local area network.  Dana Shigley was elated over the fact that the LANescape system would pay for itself many times over compared to the cost of leasing a Tl line from Pacific Bell. “The wireless LANescape system from Maxtech was quick and easy to install,” states Shigley.  “The LANescape installation provided a dramatic costs savings over Tl line options and
provided quicker and better service.”

Infrasound Proves Effective Therapy in Sports Medicine

San Clemente, CA (April 18, 2001) – New research provides compelling evidence that infrasound therapy accelerates recovery of damaged muscles in athletes. Athletes are always seeking a competitive edge, so any therapy that can speed healing or increase performance is a much sought-after tool. Dr Ronald Riegel recently measured overwhelming effectiveness in two separate controlled studies released in April. The effectiveness of infrasound was proven when each of the 22 subjects showed improvement, while most in the control group showed further deterioration.

Athletes are always seeking a competitive edge in the top echelons of competition, such as the Olympics, the difference between championship and defeat is often measured in milliseconds. Broken bones, torn ligaments, sprained ankles and pulled muscles are obstacles that aggressive athletes must face, so quick recovery from injuries often makes the crucial difference for competitors.

Dr. Ronald J. Riegel, DVM and certified human neurophysiologist, has been involved m the athletic industry for over four decades as an athlete, coach, doctor and researcher. When Dr. Riegel used the Infratonic QGM, a therapeutic infrasound device from CHI Institute, on 12 humans and 10 racehorses, he observed a substantial athletic improvement in human and equine athletes.
Dr. Riegel then decided to put the infrasound device to the test using serological and thermograph analysis before and after infrasound treatments on injured athletes. The results were overwhelmingly positive. Blood chemistry analysis of CPK and AST showed improvement in muscle-specific diagnostic enzymes, revealing that infrasound strengthened the cell walls. Thermograms also showed decreases in joint inflammation in all subjects, with no negative side effects. Dr. Riegel states, “The most significant finding of all was that the human athletes played better and all horses in the treatment group were pacing faster, with an average decrease of 1.65 seconds.”

When searching for the mechanism responsible for healing effectiveness of infrasound, researchers are somewhat puzzled.  While the complete answer may await us in the future, we can review what we have learned to date. In 1978, scientists found that certain wavelengths of low frequency sound waves induced beneficial changes in measured EEG.  Biochemical structures convert sound waves to electrical signals. Bands of EEG activity provide varying functionality, such as Delta relating to sleep, Alpha to clarity, and Beta to cognitive problem solving.  Doctor Riegel’s research shows us that when infrasound induces alpha locally into traumatized tissue, healing is accelerated. Inflammation, edema and injured muscle cells quickly return to normal, leading to accelerated recovery and optimal athletic performance.

Corey Chambers Fills Your Stocking with eBay Consignment Cash to Cure Holiday Blues

November 13, 2009
Corey Chambers Fills Your Stocking with eBay Consignment Cash

Sell on eBay the easy way, make holidays bright!

The route to holiday peace of mind is through online auction service eBay — and Southern California eBay Trading Assistant Corey Chambers is working to keep spirits high!  The Christmas season can often bring unexpected sad feelings, temporary depression symptoms called “holiday blues.”  This is especially true when one does not have the financial resources to fully take part in the gift giving and family travel that others enjoy.  One potential remedy could be ridding yourself of unwanted stuff, turning it into extra cash for the holidays through an eBay consignment service.

To manage your holiday blues, the University of Maryland Medical Center Department of Mental Health recommends sticking to your budget, and not spending more money than you can afford.  Also recommended is that you give yourself a break.   One way to work less while improving your budget is by using the services of an eBay Trading Assistant to sell your unneeded belongings on eBay.  One such Trading Assistant, Corey Chambers, has seen business boom during the year, adding seven Southern California locations in 2009. Corey Chambers credits his success to his doing all of the work for the seller, including picking up the items, photography, research, eBay listing, credit card processing and shipping worldwide.  Bonded and insured for $2 million, he also removes the risk with a Top Dollar Guarantee.  Now is the time to start selling so that you will receive your payment in time to cover last-minute holiday shopping.  It takes about 30 days for the seller to get a check in the mail, an anticipated event that is always uplifting.

While holiday sadness can sometimes mimic clinical depression, too much disorder around the house has been proven to actually contribute to depression. Corey Chambers cites an article by Karron Maidment RN, M.A. of the Obsessive Compulsion Foundation. In it, Maidment discusses Hoard and Clutter Syndrome, the acquisition of, and inability to discard unneeded items. Additionally, she explains that somewhere between 700,000 and 1.4 million Americans living today are affected — most of them completely normal otherwise.

“Although my clients generally don’t deal with these extreme levels of depression,” Chambers clarifies, “Holiday blues are reason enough to take action! Having enough cash to buy gifts and decorate is a sure cure for the season’s stress!” Through his company, Corey Chambers Consignments, Corey is eager to put the power to overcome the current all-too-common problems of a crowded living space and empty pocketbook just by listing unwanted items with him on eBay. “I measure my success by how much money I can pay out to others,” exclaims Chambers enthusiastically. Armed with over a decade of highly successful web marketing experience under his belt, he’s eagerly prepared to show you that eBay really is the way to ease clutter-induced chaos!.

Recalling one notable example of ‘property-separation anxiety’, Chambers relates Elsa Bennett’s story. A nurse at a Long Beach Hospital, her tight finances made it necessary to depart with her beloved 1964 Chevy II Nova. Having had nearly 30 years of happy memories associated with it, putting it up for sale understandably made for a poignant transition. “I loved the car,” Elsa recalls; “It was more than just a car to me, but I didn’t need it any more, and I had to let it go.” Chambers remembers the emotion-filled phone conversation he had with her. “I was a bit surprised that someone would call me up crying after making the decision to sell something,” he reports; “but these feelings are very common when parting with anything — especially something as integral to your life as your car.” Happily, Bennett chose Corey to sell it for her because, as she describes, “I didn’t have the time to, and Corey did all of the work.“ Ultimately, thanks to Chamber’s expertise, not only did the car sell for hundreds more than she ever expected, but it was purchased by an off-duty police officer who happened to have once owned the same model. He too, was grateful for the chance to relive some happy memories, and Bennett was assured her treasured auto was going to a very good home. “That’s another great thing about selling on eBay,” observes Corey, “You reach so many people — far more than you ever would from just a garage sale, or placing an ad in the local paper. Plus, most often, those who venture the highest bid are those who are going to really value that object most!”.

This eBay expert’s painstaking process for researching and listing an item is truly like no other! His time working on eBay has given him some very important ecommerce tips and tactics — all aimed at getting more bidders and fetching top dollar prices! Because eBay members usually find what they want by typing in specific words to look up, he utilizes a special computer program which selects only the most relevant and frequently sought out keywords or descriptive phrases. He and his crew then place these conspicuously within that item’s title and description. “Without the right words, few people would ever find the item, let alone bid on it,” Corey stresses, “Our expert writers look up the very best keywords, guaranteeing to dramatically increase the number of bidders!”.

Offering free local pickup yet another way “Corey Chambers Consignments” has pulled ahead of the crowd. So is charging minimal costs to the clients who pay nothing to list their things with Chambers. After the sale, he simply deducts a flat fee of 34% from the individual items purchase price. That fee is reduced even more for pieces over $500.00! Unlike the regular eBay drop off stores, Corey Chambers doesn’t charge extra for your eBay fees, payment processing fees, ad copywriting, additional research, invoicing, shipping, or multiple photos.  In fact, you can count on your items selling for about 20% more when listed by Corey Chambers.  Chamber’s clients are often surprised by the sums of money they get from listing their stuff through his company. “I expected to get about $50.00 for my baseball card collection, and Corey got me $255.00,” says Long Beach resident Tony Kapinski.  Chambers has even taken a $5.00 cookie jar from a garage sale and sold it on eBay for $278.00.

So ask yourself — could your old, broken guitar be worth $3000.00 or more? Is that forgotten artwork collecting dust in your garage or attic worthless or priceless? Don’t bother storing it anymore — dust gathering doesn’t pay anyone‘s bills! Sell it on eBay with the kind of skilled, professional handling that only Corey Chambers can provide! Corey Chambers Consignments serves the entire Southern California area, including Los Angeles, Long Beach and all of Orange County. For more information contact Corey Chambers at (714) 361-2655 or visit him online at coreychambers.com . “An extra check in the mail is a sure way to make the season bright,” says Chambers, “so say goodbye to the old, and ring in a truly prosperous new year when you sell on eBay the easy way!”

Sell on eBay – Create your listing

Sell your item on eBay  –  How to create a listing

Corey Chambers photographs a Dali for sale on eBay

Photograph your item:

Clean the item first, if practical.  Take the photo in front of a clear, solid background, such as a white sheet.  Make sure that the picture is in focus. Use a tripod, especially in low light or for close-ups, where you need to turn the flash off.

The first photo is used in the eBay gallery.  This photo must include the main item as large as it can be (filling up the screen 98% [don’t ever cut off any part of the item;  there should be at least a small amount of margin all around the item so that it can be recognized). It must also show the accessories (the accessories can be cut off, or in the background.)  The first picture should be a full picture of main item, with accessories put around it.  The main item should take up almost the entire photo, with the accessories around the periphery.

The first photo should usually be at a front angle, with the item turned just slightly so that you can see a bit of the left side and top.  The second photo should be the reverse side, at the same angle, so that you can see the other sides.  Turn the item upside down if possible.  If the item functions, function it for the photos:  turn it on, move it, open it, use it.  Shoot close-ups of details, aesthetic and functional features, surface texture and accessories.

Photography usually requires extra lighting.  If you are not sure about lighting, shoot once with a flash or bright lights, and again without a flash or with dimmer lights.  Then choose the best photo of the two.  Outside in a shaded area usually has great lighting.  Don’t put mirrors, shiny or brightly colored items near the photography area or they will affect the photo.  Shoot with halogen or color corrected bulbs or your item will look discolored.  If necessary, use Paint Shop pro to correct the brightness and contrast.  If your camera does not make bright shots with good contrast, then program a script in Paint Shop that automatically corrects every file in a folder to increase brightness by about 20% and does the one step photo fix.

Remember to always shoot the underside of tables and chairs.  Look for a label or manufacturer stamp on the bottom or a drawer.  Every time you shoot an item you should always shoot every side, including the bottom of many items.  Include a ruler (or person for large items) if an item’s size is difficult to determine from the photograph.

When photographing a collection, arrange it neatly and nicely so it shows as much of each piece as possible.  Don’t just show junky looking stacks, and don’t just throw it out into a big pile.

Photo Services – Beginners should probably use eBay’s picture services.  Always use a gallery photo, and more than one photo.  3-6 photos is usually best for small items.  10-12 photos for large, complex items.  At least 12 photos are usually required for cars.  Supersize for valuable items worth over $100, or if the item has details of text that must be seen.  Supersize photos for tiny collections.  The item must be clearly visible and readable in the photo.  People must be able to see the pieces, and read them if they have text printed on them, in addition to reading about them in the listing.

Collections:
In the listing, give an exact count of how many cards, coins, stamps, or pieces, (along with a total monetary value if stamps or coins, etc.)
Make sure that you keep collection items clearly grouped, marked and easy to identify for shipping.

Auction Type:  For most items, you want the standard online auction format.  For new items, you might prefer the fixed price format.

Category:  The best way to choose a category is by searching for the best comparable item sold, and selling in the same category.  Sell in two categories if you are selling something expensive that really belongs in both categories.

In my next blog, I will tell you how to write your description,  and what to include in the description.  I will also give you my NUMBER ONE SECRET to a successful listing.  This common sense step is something that you should do for every item you list on eBay.

August 16, 2009

Are you wondering what the best items are to sell on eBay?   In this posting, I will discuss selling used items because nearly everyone has items around the house that are valauble and not longer needed and can generate some quick cash.  I will tell you exactly what sells best, and what to avoid selling.

If you are looking for an eBay Trading Assistant or eBay Drop Off Store to sell your items for you, see my contact information below, and I will be happy to help you if you are in Southern California.

What sells the best on eBay?  I think very valuable items such as cars, antiques, collectibles, gold coins and jewelry, anything worth over $100 is great to sell on eBay because it gives you plenty of money for the amount of time that it takes you.   I go into more detail later about the types of items that are good to sell on eBay.

eBay allows you to sell a huge variety of items, so let’s start first with what eBay does NOT allow you to sell, and what I recommend that you do not sell.   eBay does now allow you to sell stolen items, items with removed/altered serial numbers, alcohol, firearms, tobacco, animals, counterfeit items and pornography.  There are plenty of other items that eBay does not let you sell.  See eBay prohinited and restricted items list at http://pages.ebay.com/help/policies/items-ov.html.

I recommend that you do not waste your time selling items that are not valuable.  This depends on how valuable your time is.  If you normally make $15 per hour, and it takes you 3 hours to photograph, list and ship your item, then you probably want to make at least $45 of profit on the item.  So the average person may not want to waste time selling an item worth under $50 unless it is your spare time and you enjoy the process.

Items that don’t usally sell for much include, cheap collectibles from the 80′s and 90′s, inexpensive out-of-date clothing, old lamps with big lamp shades, most books, magazines and vinly records (there are plenty of exceptions, so look them up first), big, heavy items that are cheap (shipping is too expensive, and Craigslist may be better for large, cheap items).

What are the best items?   Cars are my favorite.  More cars are sold through eBay motors than Craigslist, Auto Trader, or any car dealer or any advertising medium!  When you sell your car on eBay Motors, and include great photos and a full decription, the car will do well.

Other valuable items do well on eBay.  Right now gold, silver and precious metals and gemstones are up, so now is a great time to sell them.  They are often small and inexpensive to ship, so eBay is the perfect place.

Valuable collectibles (especially well known brand names) such as antiques, gold coins, Rolex watches, Lladro figurines all do well.
